I’d definitely go with the Bigfoot. Fortunately my dad owns an airstream business so I’ll remain hot or cold from the aluminum 😂

Thanks for more reviews of fiberglass trailers - my favorites! We almost purchased an Oliver a few years ago. Instead, we purchased an Airstream Nest (also fiberglass) and really like it for a very small, easy to tow trailer.

Those Olivers are using the molded fiberglass interior features to add even more strength and rigidity to their full hull designs. As much as I love my Bigfoot, I think the Oliver is better made. Thanks for the tour you two!

Just came home from 6 days in the mountains, these won't go where we want to go. Keeping our truck camper.

We play cards and games in our booth, can't imagine giving that up.

Paying 78 thousand and not having things like televisions and solar set up is tragic. After seeing that I personally would not buy this or any unit not fully furnished for that money for the Bigfoot.

These are not the two best made trailers for cold-weather camping or heat as they don’t have any good insulation that honeycomb crap doesn’t work.

Tough to decide what I like best. I appreciate the build quality of Oliver, but I would want a dry bath. I do like the recliners in the Big Foot.

Haven't seen a Bigfoot trailer inside in years. Oliver very very expensive, but i would definitely do an oliver over an airstream, cause of the molded interior will out last any airstream. Very cool to see! 👍🏼🍻

We’d have to go with the Bigfoot and recliners. That’s so nice to be able to relax at the end of a long day. Both the Bigfoot and Oliver are super nice campers.

You guys should borrow an infra red gun and shine it on three campers with AC on in the heat ... Oliver, a Bigfoot and an Airstream! My bet is the Bigfoot will show the least energy transmission and the Airstream show the most

I think on the Bigfoot you can delete the skylight and get a additional max air fan . They also offer twin bed setup with lots of storage cabinets overhead.

I like the recliners. I need my afternoon nap.

Both are nice looking trailers for sure. For my wife & I though we are perfectly happy with our pop-up as we feel part with nature in it. Ohhhh-I’m so excited to see this! I have the exact “older” AC unit on my 2023 Rugged Mountain 11RL. I can’t stand to run it-it’s so loud. Was the hole for ur old AC unit exactly the same needed for the Houghton? Thank you for doing this/I can’t wait! What did u do with ur old unit?

For us the bigfoot is the better fit, I sure do love the fit and finish of Oliver trailers but the floor plans are just a horrible fit for us.

As always guys, you do a great job detailing all of the various features on all of the truck campers you’ve shown to us. I want to say thank you. All my adult life I’ve wanted a truck camper and it’s still my dream. I enjoy seeing your adventures and all of the great modifications you’ve made to the campers you’ve owned. I just really think you both are so genuine and helpful to your subscribers. Keep up the great work and know that many of us out here just really enjoy watching your videos and seeing what new adventures await you.

Is that the factory resr bumper?

I’ve noticed the NL has what I’m assuming is a support beam along above the foot of the bed, whereas the Bigfoot doesn’t seem to have any beams across the ceiling at the foot of the bed. The NL beam looks like it would make getting in and out of bed a challenge for us taller guys, I’m afraid I would hit my head on it.

Exterior speakers are an invite for moisture to get in the walls.. if I were ordering a new one it would for sure NOT have exterior speakers.

How much are these again cos it's perfect although I'd hang a shower curtain rod or something at the foot of the bed and hang fabric for some type of privacy. .

Im blow away by that bed never seen one that spaceis an easy to get to in a truck camper.

We are seriously considering a new Northern Lite 610, and selling our bumper pull. We owned a Scout Yoho and loved the freedom it gave us in urban environments. Good job guys.

These are very nice. Seen a few in person. But I think it's past the time they finally offered a 12V compressor fridge, and make it easy to add more LiIon battery storage and charging from trucks alternator(s). Having the roof AC unit be able to make heat too would be fantastic.What is Northern Lite waiting for??? But great video guys!! Thanks, Jeff-

I noticed that it’s 2900 lbs empty. I have a 3/4 ton short bed with 3601 lbs of cargo. After we add our weight and stuff in the trailer I’m thinking this is 1 Ton class. Am I correct?

My truck has a drop in plastic liner. I know you said I need a bed mat. Can the mat be put over the liner or do I need to remove the liner first?

Looks the same as my 2021 except I wanted and liked grey stokes. I loved it except I’m 5’2” and even with a 2 step ladder, taking in and out the propane tanks was too much for my back. Sold it for more than I paid for it. Of course I upgraded a few things but still did well. Hoping to get into a small van for part time.
